People x Land
These images are the visual cross-section of the land that produces the bounty we harvest and the hands that are made rough tending it.
Food Photography starts with a story
I’ve been photographing and producing shoots for the last 11 years and every shoot always starts with a story. Whether you are photographing a farm, an organic dairy farmer and his cheese or a beautiful fruit orchard in Niagara, there is always more than just images being captured.
Why it matters:
Documentary photography and photography that focuses on our agricultural systems is important in telling the stories behind the food we eat. I have loved the opportunity to capture some of the US and Canada’s hard working men and women who get up everyday to bring these harvests to fruition.
